Western Oregon Beats Willamette in Straight Sets
(September 10, 2014, 5:29 am) SALEM, Ore. WOU, which competes in NCAA Division II, improved to 1-3 on the season. Willamette, which plays in NCAA Division III, fell to 5-4.

Western Oregon University defeated Willamette University, 3-0, in a non-conference volleyball match at Cone Field House on Tuesday.

Portland State Survives Scare from Western Oregon
(September 7, 2014, 6:50 am) HILLSBORO, Ore. Wolves quarterback Ryan Bergman had other ideas, keeping the Vikings on their toes deep into the fourth quarter before PSU came away with a 45-38 victory.

Portland State expected to get their first win of the season in their home opener against Division II Western Oregon at Hillsboro Stadium.

Chico State Gets Three Set Sweep vs Western Oregon
(September 6, 2014, 8:50 pm) SEATTLE, Wash. The Wolves make the short trip to Salem, Ore., for a matchup with Willamette University Tuesday.

The Chico State volleyball team cruised to a three-set sweep over Western Oregon University Saturday in the ninth match of the First Serve tournament.

Humboldt State Gets Past Western Oregon in OT
(September 6, 2014, 8:45 pm) MONMOUTH, Ore. The Lumberjacks (1-1-0) used a goal in the first overtime period to pull out the road win.

The Humboldt State University women's soccer team escaped with a 2-1 overtime victory over Western Oregon University Saturday.

Cal Poly Pomona Downs Western Oregon in Five Sets

The Western Oregon University volleyball team surrendered another set lead in a five-set loss to Cal Poly Pomona Friday.

Western Oregon Falls in Season Opener
(September 5, 2014, 6:00 am) SEATTLE, Wash. Western Oregon faces Cal Poly Pomona Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the sixth match of the tournament.

The Western Oregon University volleyball team opened its 2014 schedule with a four-set loss to Cal State-Los Angeles Thursday, 25-19, 26-28, 19-25, 18-25, in the opening match of the First Serve tournament hosted by Seattle Pacific University.

Western Oregon 2014 Football Preview
(August 29, 2014, 7:00 am) MONMOUTH, Ore. Last year quarterback Ryan Bergman guided the Wolves to a 7-3 conference record and a tie for second place with Central Washington.

Western Oregon, which has had four consecutive winning seasons, including a pair of 7-4 campaigns, opens its 2014 football season Saturday at Hillsboro Stadium against Portland State.
